Wildfang said Monday it has completed a $2.3 million funding round.
The development comes just days after the company, which makes tomboy and feminist-themed clothing, had a run-in with a box brand. Wildfang’s leaders jokingly suggested the class meant that the Portland company has “made it” in the fashion world.

Most of the round’s funding came from Oregon-based investors, including Oregon Angel Fund, Portland Seed Fund and Cascade Angels. The roster signals not only a shift in the company’s trajectory but also a change in local investment philosophy.
