Boston menswear startup Blank Label expands to Washington DC retail site and beyond

Blank Label, a Boston-based company that got its start offering custom-tailored menswear online, is opening its second brick-and-mortar store in Washington D.C. in August, with the help of $1.1 million in investor funding.

The company closed funding last year from investors including Drew Volpe, partner at Cambridge-based tech venture fund Procyon Ventures, and Jeremy Hitchcock, co-founder of New Hampshire-based Internet performance company Dyn, along with other investors based in New York, China and Dallas, Texas.
